1. Anthropogenic emissions of sulphur (1980-2010*) in the ECE
region
(thousands of tonnes of SO2 per year)
The following tables include national
anthropogenic emissions reported officially by the Parties to the
Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution as presented
to its Executive Body on December 1999. There is a separate table
for each of the following pollutants: sulphur, nitrogen
oxides , ammonia, non-methane
volatile organic compounds (NMVOCs) , carbon
monoxide , methane , carbon
dioxide , heavy metals and persistent
organic pollutants (POPs).
